FAQ

Q: My child swims year-round and only needs a few lessons. How do I register?

A: Send me an email to find out what times are available. Once lessons are scheduled, payment for the number of lessons requested is due at the first lesson. No deposit is required.

Q: I am an adult male struggling with the swim portion of the triathlon. I have not had swim lessons since I was a kid. Do I sign up for the Beginning Adult group or Adult Stroke Development?

A: Send me an email to find out what times are available, then sign up for a few private lessons. Once I have a better sense of what you’ll need, I will be able to direct you. No deposit is required.

Q: I am an accomplished runner aspiring to be a pro triathlete. Do you also offering coaching?

A:  Yes, on a limited basis depending on availability.

Q: My daughter is four years old. She’s never had swimming lessons before. How do I register?

A: Register for 15-minute private lessons. I like to start young students out slowly to make sure they don’t get cold or overloaded.

Q: I have never had swim lessons. I am not comfortable being in a group. Should I register for private lessons?

A: Yes, but call me first. Let’s talk so I get a better sense of what you need.

Q: My son wants to swim to Alcatraz. He’s only ten years old. Do you train children for such endeavors?

A: Yes. My approach is to work on technique, then build endurance.
